Stay on brand, improve morale, keep spirits up
Obviously the US (heck, the whole world’s) economy is taking a big hit from the current pandemic. While we should all hold faith that our world will come through just fine, there are definitely steps we can take to mitigate the impact. Yes, of course we all know to wash our hands (your A-Z Swagman knows — happy birthday twice), but let’s think about your clients and employees working from home.
Signage
With more and more restaurants and businesses modifying their shopping practices, signs are one of the easiest ways to convey instructions to clients. A-frame signs are great for outdoor use. Indoors, utilize floor graphics or free-standing signs to guide your clients.
As a bonus, by planning carefully, you can change out the graphics on the A-frame or sign hardware and save $$ on future needs!!
Employee morale
What are some of the daily office norms or treats your employees are missing while working from home? Help them weather this with some care packages — it’ll show you value their effort and pay off with retention and productivity. Anything from a simple mug, to an apron (let’s face it, they’ll be cooking at home more). Or how about a nice popcorn bowl while they binge their shows in the evenings they cannot go out?
Marketing
A week or two ago, your A-Z Swagman mentioned a quote from a noted economist:

That concept, coupled with the fact that promotional products are one of the most effective advertising tools available, mean you should be investing in your company to come out ahead! Trade shows will come back. Face-to-face sales calls will come back. Those loooong, in-person-meetings-that-you-have-to-bribe-employees-to-attend-with-cool-promo-gizmos will come back!!
