Do you have your 2022 branded calendars yet?
A quick note from your A-Z Swagman: Now is the time to order your branded 2022 calendars. Suppliers have such a rush later in the year, that they’ll offer great pricing for earlier orders.
Nuff about that. Because the Swag-Tardis (Swagman’s time machine) broke down next week, I’m unable to look ahead and see how your marketing events will pan out. The best I can do is make some suggestions on how to use promotional products that tie in with national events like:
September By now, all school systems should be in the swing of things, the heat has dropped to a mild inferno and parents are celebrating/lamenting their child's first football game (both the US version and what the rest of the world calls football). Also:
National Library Card Sign-Up Month. Established in 1987 by the American Library Association, September is the perfect month to encourage children to read!! Donate book bags to your public or school library, drop off book-shaped stress toys at PTO meetings, hand out bookmarks (regular or seeded) at school events — there are just soooo many options to associate your brand with this laudable cause!
National Mushroom Month. Your A-Z Swagman loooves his mushrooms. My mouth is watering just thinking about sautéing some with onions. Is your business in the savory market? Maybe you can get your message out with a mushroom shaped Bluetooth speaker. How about a mushroom slicer (that also can be used as an egg slicer?) Maybe a Morel Mushroom shaped ballpoint pen is best!
Sept 7th is National Beer Lover’s Day. As usual, we are not advocating excessive drinking, but if you love your brews and have already designated a driver, why not celebrate this day? Pint glasses are a great souvenir, as are bottle openers. Beer journals are great for the enthusiast! And just in case you thought you’d heard it all, did you know you can get beer-flavored lip balm?
Sept 22nd is Hobbit Day. Celebrate just this day, or the week containing September 22nd is Tolkien Week, as proclaimed by the American Tolkien Society. Teas, cakes, wines and ales are the order of the day, and you can wow your guests with a custom imprinted cheese-board or similar serving tray. Make Bilbo proud!
