Adopt some local flavor in your branding this year!
Your A-Z Swagman is on one, count it, one social media platform: Linked In. By no means do I use it as effectively as some — heck, you might not even find this blog entry/greenish paper linked there! (note to self: add to Linked In) But I do enjoy seeing what some of my current and former co-workers are posting. So while perusing the other day, I saw this posting by a former co-worker, touting his current co-worker’s award at a recent trade show. When I saw what she had won as a trophy, I knew it was something I’d seen at promo trade shows, so I can get it for our clients too!
A trophy can be a traditional cup, plaque or glass sculpture (note the one your A-Z Swagman has on his desk), but it can also be something more. A guitar ties in nicely with the Music City we call home, as would decorated drum sticks, tambourine or banjo!

Of course, utilizing a guitar theme is not limited to awards. You can associate your brand with that of the Music City by offering a host of giveaways or incentives — however you get them into your client’s hands, you know your message will live on!
Stress toys — always a favorite of your A-Z Swagman! Hand Fans to stay cool at outdoor events. Fly swatters to gently shoo away those pesky visitors we see all too often in the south. Key chains — with or without a bottle opener! How about a pen with a guitar cap! And for those evening events, a light-up, guitar-shaped necklace!
