603rd anniversary
Today is the Feast of St. Crispin - as the son of a priest and the stepson of a Bishop (both Episcopalian), one would think I'd be well versed in the various saints. However, my knowledge of this day is from my love of Shakespeare's Henry V . . . specifically, Kenneth Branagh's 1989 film. Today is the 603rd anniversary of the Battle of Agincourt, where a small force of English and Welsh knights and bowmen defeated a much larger French force.
Nothing Promo today, just a love of history, cinema and theater! (also, nothing against anyone French or pro English! No need to re-start the Hundred-Years' War)
